<div><h3>Role Summary</h3><p>The Quality Inspector - Safety is responsible for monitoring and ensuring that all construction activities adhere to approved quality standards, safety procedures, and inspection protocols. The role involves conducting daily site inspections, identifying non-compliances, supporting contractors in quality and safety implementation, and coordinating closely with the QC Manager and Resident Engineers. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity, safety, and quality of project execution on site.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Perform daily site surveillances to ensure ongoing works comply with approved ITPs, checklists, and project requirements</li><li>Identify deficiencies, safety issues, and non-compliance on site; report immediately to the QC Manager and initiate corrective actions before work is covered</li><li>Ensure proper closure of WIRs (Work Inspection Requests) and MIRs (Material Inspection Requests) after obtaining signatures and verifying all required documentation</li><li>Review and understand project specifications, drawings, PQP, ITPs, method statements, QC procedures, and other relevant quality documents</li><li>Witness testing and sampling of concrete, soil, steel, and other materials; complete all related forms as per approved procedures</li><li>Monitor and comment on contractor quality control and safety practices to ensure compliance</li><li>Conduct daily coordination meetings with the contractor's QC representative to reinforce proper quality management procedures</li><li>Assist the Construction team in resolving quality‑related and safety‑related issues</li><li>Support the Quality Manager in preparing and conducting internal/external quality audits</li><li>Prepare and submit daily QC reports to the QC Manager no later than 9:00 AM the following day</li><li>Verify that all testing equipment and devices have valid calibration certificates</li><li>Review and maintain logs of WIRs, MIRs, MARs, and other QC documentation</li><li>Report any miscoordination between disciplines to the Resident Engineer (RE) and Quality Manager (QM)</li></ul><h3>Qualifications&Requirements</h3><ul><li>5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment</li><li>Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Health&Safety, or a related field</li><li>Strong understanding of quality control, site safety practices, testing procedures, and applicable regulations</li><li>Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and strong reporting/documentation skills</li><li>Effective communication and proactive problem-solving approach</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
