Quality Module Team Leader

Job PurposesManagement of working of SF6 products module testing department.Ensuring adherence to the quality standards keeping in mind the health and safety aspects.Liaising with various departments to effectively carry out the function of testing.Impart training to new recruits and upgrade the skills of the existing personnel.Monitor the activities of the testing personnel and to ensure that they carry out the test as per the Quality Control Instructions.Raise requisition/communicate the requirement of new testing instruments.Manage the calibration of instruments/equipment for SF6 products from third party as well as inhouse.Manage verification of jigs & fixtures for SF6 products.Maintenance of records of the test & inspection.Undertake continuous improvement projects related to the products/processes.Motivate sub-ordinates to perform better.Proactively identify potential risks and implement preventive actions.Job ContextLeading quality module team.Developing and implementing quality procedures.Conducting audits.Identifying and resolving quality issues.Collaborating with other departments.Training team members.Analysing data to improve quality.Job DimensionsTechnical Expertise: Knowledge of quality control methods, tools, and standards.Leadership: Ability to motivate, guide, and develop team members.Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving quality issues efficiently.Communication: Effective interaction with teams, stakeholders, and management.Analytical Thinking: Interpreting data to inform quality decisions.Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing quality strategies.Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams.Attention to Detail: Ensuring high-quality outputs.Continuous Improvement: Driving quality enhancements.Key AccountabilitiesTimely completion of the testing as per production plan.Weekly circulation of leak data, High Voltage data & Partial Discharge data.Improvement in HV & PD defects.Timely circulation of FIR reports.Timely calibration of test instruments/equipment.Timely validation of jigs & fixtures.Qualifications, Experience & SkillsRole will execute the Testing for SF6 Products and be critical in the development of global Quality for Lucy. In addition to the management of the day-to-day activities of QA, the role will also develop opportunities to improve quality across the business, working closely with Supplier QA team.Behavioural CompetenciesAuditing of processes and reporting on a weekly basis.Routine Tests to be conducted as per correct QCI’s.To achieve the SMART target set for quality team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
