Quantity Surveyor

Job Title - Quantity SurveyorAbout the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage all cost-related aspects of construction projects, ensuring effective cost control, accurate budgeting, and timely financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesCost Planning & EstimationPrepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQs).Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine project costs.Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.Contract & Commercial ManagementAssist in preparation, review, and administration of contracts and subcontracts.Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders in coordination with project teams.Support negotiation and finalization of contractor and supplier agreements.Procurement & PaymentsCoordinate with procurement teams for material pricing and supplier evaluations.Review and certify interim and final payment applications.Track commitments, variations, and cash flow forecasts.Project Cost Control & ReportingMaintain accurate cost records and financial reports.Prepare monthly cost reports highlighting budget status and variances.Provide commercial insights and recommendations to support project decisions.Coordination & ComplianceLiaise with engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure commercial alignment.Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies, and industry standards.Support project close-out activities and final account settlements.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.3–7 years of experience in construction and engineering projects.Strong knowledge of BOQs, cost estimation, and contract administration.Experience with residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects preferred.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and numerical skillsExcellent knowledge of construction contracts and cost controlProficiency in MS Excel and cost management toolsAttention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and negotiation abilitiesWhat We OfferExposure to diverse construction projectsCompetitive compensation and benefitsCareer growth and professional development opportunitiesApply now!#J-18808-Ljbffr
