Research Assistant/ Associate Professor - Nonlinear Dynamics Research CenterUnited Arab Emirates (On-site)Be the First to ApplyJob DescriptionJob Title: Research Assistant/Associate/Professor– Nonlinear Dynamics Research Center.Job DescriptionThe Nonlinear Dynamics Research Center (NDRC) at the College of Humanities and Sciences, Ajman University, invites applications for a full-time faculty research position (Research Assistant/Associate/Professor) in Applied Mathematics. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct high-impact research, contribute to teaching activities, secure external funding, and actively engage with the university’s academic and professional community.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch & PublicationsConduct advanced research in Nonlinear Dynamics, Fractional Calculus, Mathematical Modeling, and Control Theory.Publish in high-impact, Scopus-indexed Q1/Q2 journals.Participate actively in national and international research conferences.Teaching & SupervisionDeliver lectures and workshops in specialized research areas.Supervise graduate students’ research projects and dissertations.Grants & FundingDevelop and submit competitive research grant proposals.Secure external research funding to support ongoing research activities.Service & EngagementOrganize and coordinate workshops, seminars, and conferences at both national and international levels.Foster collaborations with industry partners, governmental institutions, and academic research centers.Actively contribute to the growth and visibility of Ajman University and the NDRC.Required Qualifications & ExperienceA Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics or a closely related field from an internationally reputable institution.A strong publication record in high-impact SCOPUS-indexed journals with a notable h-index and citation count.Proven experience in teaching and research supervision at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.Experience in securing and managing external research grants is highly desirable.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).Proficiency in Mathematical software (MATLAB, Mathematica, Maple) and LaTeX.Ability to work collaboratively on interdisciplinary research projects.Strong organizational, leadership, and program development skills.Application ProcessInterested candidates should submit the following:A list of publications (with emphasis on Q1/Q2 journal publications).Contact details of at least three references.NotesOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
