The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of our steel rolling mills. This is a full-time position with a 2-year contract, offering competitive salary and benefits.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct regular maintenance and repairs on rolling mill equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and develop and implement solutions to ensure smooth and efficient operationPerform routine inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdownsMonitor and adjust machine settings to ensure quality output and minimize downtimeWork closely with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasksMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to managementAdhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environmentAssist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgradesTrain and mentor junior technicians to develop their skills and knowledgeQualifications and SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent, with technical training in mechanical engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance and operation of rolling mills, preferably in the steel industryStrong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsFamiliarity with PLCs and other control systemsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and manualsExcellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work under pressureGood communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to work in a fast‑paced and physically demanding environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work on rotating shifts and overtime as neededFluent in English, knowledge of Arabic is a plusAdditional InformationIf you are a highly motivated and skilled Rolling Mill Mechanical Technician looking for a challenging opportunity with a reputable company, we encourage you to apply for this position.
