Sales Engineers / Estimators – (Dubai and Remote)

<p><strong>Description:</strong><br/>We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sales Engineer / Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in the sales process by accurately assessing project requirements, preparing cost estimates, and providing clients with comprehensive proposals for smart home installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general construction, smart home technologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, the internal team and suppliers.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br/></p><ol><li>Collaborate with sales representatives, project managers, and clients to understand project specifications and requirements.</li><li>Conduct site visits to assess existing infrastructure, evaluate technical considerations, and identify potential challenges or opportunities.</li><li>Analyze CAD Plans, floor plans, and other project documentation to determine the scope of work and materials needed for smart home installations.</li><li>Utilize estimation software and tools to calculate material costs, labor expenses, and project timelines accurately.</li><li>Prepare detailed cost estimates, including itemized breakdowns of materials, labor, subcontractor fees, and overhead expenses.</li><li>Present estimates and proposals to clients, addressing any questions or concerns and providing recommendations for optimal smart home solutions.</li><li>Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely availability of materials and resources.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project-related documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.</li><li>Maintain CAD plans and update project files.</li></ol><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br/></p><ol><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.</li><li>Proven experience as an estimator in the construction, home automation, or smart home industry, with a strong understanding of technical requirements and best practices.</li><li>Familiarity with smart home technologies, including home automation systems, security systems, lighting controls, HVAC systems, and audiovisual solutions.</li><li>Proficiency in estimation software and tools, such as Autocad, Intellicad, Excel.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and project documentation.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with internal teams.</li><li>Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and precision in estimating project costs and timelines.</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to smart home installations is preferred.</li></ol><p><strong>Benefits:</strong><br/></p><ol><li>Competitive salary and benefits package.</li><li>Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.</li><li>Dynamic and collaborative work environment with talented professionals.</li><li>Access to cutting-edge technology and resources to support personal and professional growth.</li><li>Work-life balance initiatives.</li></ol>#J-18808-Ljbffr
