Sales support Engineer

Job PurposeThe primary purpose of the Sales Support Engineer role is to support the sales team by providing technical expertise and assistance throughout the sales process. This includes understanding and addressing customer needs , preparing technical proposals , and ensuring the effective presentation and demonstration of the company’s products and services . By leveraging technical knowledge and interpersonal skills , the Sales Support Engineer helps to bridge the gap between customer requirements and the company’s offerings , ultimately contributing to customer satisfaction and the achievement of sales targets (KSA customers , and other countries under LSA) .Job ContextThe role will be based in Saudi. To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed in order to maintain and / or improve the efficiency, quality and service provided by LSA management team and by the Sales Department.ResponsibilitiesMeet Sales Targets for the LE business.Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.Advanced and Predictive Analytics: Support interpretation of advanced and predictive analytics data, using specialized software tools and functionalities.Insights and Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports.Business Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor standard business performance metrics within the organization's established systems to deliver required insights for decision making.Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Data: Schedule follow-up actions and enter relevant information into the CRM system after each contact with a customer to create a call plan and to ensure that the organization has quality data to enable effective customer retention and business development activities.Circulate the forms for issuing new customer codes and credit notes.Circulate and update Monthly Sales ForecastUpdate Yearly Sales Budget and Medium Term PlanAssists / supports all sales team members for all day to day sales activitiesAssists / Coordinates with Tendering Engineer for preparation of tender / prequalification documents for utilities & Technical Submittals when required.Document filing as per ISO standardsHanding over Sales Orders including all required documentation to contractsIssue inspection calls to customers in coordination with the sales teamFollow up for inspection whenever requiredDistribute the inspection MOMs to customers and internallySupporting the marketing manager with the delivery of global and local marketing campaignsAssists Marketing Manager for Exhibit participationLiaise with the Global Marketing Team to ensure timely response to their queries.Minimum QualificationBachelor’s Degree Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringJob-Specific SkillsGood skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word & ExcelStrategic Sales and Business DevelopmentCustomer Management and OperationsMeticulous with tenders and quotesDevelop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersGood Command in English & Arabic languageStrong Entrepreneurial Skills, Focus on Delivery, Team and Business Development, Structured Thinking#J-18808-Ljbffr
