The SAP PO Technical Consultant will be responsible for delivering PO program assets based on technical specifications and may be required to utilize expert knowledge to address any deficiencies in those specifications. The consultant will provide technical expertise in interface design, development, testing, implementation, and support. Additionally, the consultant will engage in implementation activities and workshops to facilitate a seamless transition from implementation to production operations. This role encompasses all facets of SAP PO development within a complex system landscape.RequirementsEngages in advanced PO programming, design, testing, and debugging activities related to the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP modulesIdentifies deployment options for PO components, including the Enterprise Service Repository, Service Registry, Security, etcDesigns, develops, codes, and tests intricate and complex interfaces utilizing SAP development toolsAnalyzes functional specifications and subsequently creates corresponding technical specificationsDefines integration architecture, designs data integration flows, and implements and tests these integration flowsCollaborates with functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of business processes and procedures with information technology, while identifying customer solutionsDevelops custom objects, including adaptersConducts unit testing of developments and provides troubleshooting support during the testing phaseAssists and supports the functional team in the execution of integration testingProvides support during the Go-live and post-Go-live phases, including troubleshooting, investigating, analyzing, and resolving software issues, and mapping client business requirements, processes, and objectives. Develops necessary modifications to meet client needsOffers in-depth knowledge of industry best practices and how SAP can fulfill these practicesPrepares documentation for developed objects in accordance with provided templatesAcquires comprehensive knowledge of current business processes, designs existing business flows, and studies the complexities inherent in current business operationsMaintains an extensive understanding of the organization and adheres to all organizational standardsEducationA Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized national or international educational institution.Proficiency in English is required, with knowledge of Arabic being an advantage.Relevant ExperienceA minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP and PO.Proven experience in Object-Oriented programming, Web services, Web Dynpro, RFC programming, XML transformations, BADIs, BAPIs, and Workflows.Experience in interface development and support in PO, preferably with release 7.1 or higher.Proficient in EDI/Idoc configuration and maintenance.Background in IT disciplines with an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Experience in the Public Sector within SAP is preferred.Skilled in gathering and documenting system requirements, as well as documenting the functional design for business application solutions and related implementation challenges from a functional viewpoint.Skills RequirementsCertification in SAP ABAP and SAP PO, or certification in one with practical experience in the other.Skills PreferredExpertise in SAP PO tools and standards.Comprehensive knowledge of SAP PO architecture.Solid understanding of various integration technologies.Proficient in the design and configuration of SAP PO objects, as well as development and configuration tools aligned with the enterprise system landscape.Familiarity with eSOA.Experience in SAP projects covering three full project lifecycles.Soft Skills PreferredStrong documentation skills.Competent presentation skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and work effectively under tight deadlines.Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.BenefitsAttractive PackageFamily BenefitsVisaAir Tickets#J-18808-Ljbffr
