The operator achieves production targets by increasing line efficiency and minimizing process waste. Duties include gathering hourly data from process control checks, conducting quality wall meetings, maintaining hygiene and housekeeping, alerting on food safety hazards, summarizing daily material usage, monitoring energy usage, managing process workers, and maintaining manufacturing practices.Principal AccountabilitiesMake decisions based on the best possible utilisation to achieve maximum output in terms of yield conversion.Repair and maintain necessary processing equipment to maintain line efficiency.Stop the production process, in consultation with the Laboratory Technician, if production is out of specification.Run the line systematically and efficiently.Perform and report the hourly process control check.Conduct quality wall meetings at the required intervals.Ensure raw materials are available for production runs near the line.Maintain hygienic equipment and keep stations in good working condition.Achieve the required line efficiency and material efficiency targets set by the business.Highlight day‑to‑day issues to direct managers.Collect and report material wastage, summarize material usage daily, and calculate material efficiency.Inform Engineering for equipment maintenance or repair through MP2.Manage process workers, including break times, cleaning during flavour changes, and time‑in/time‑out.Maintain line and work stations in good condition through running patrol checklists.Report health hazards within the workplace to the immediate direct manager.Ensure quality products are produced at all times.Communicate daily issues and activities to other shifts.Emphasize teamwork and cooperation.Support IPS and food safety audits.Utilise energy (water, gas, electricity, etc.) effectively.Implement, sustain, and participate in continual improvement of the EHS Management System in accordance with the legislations, PepsiCo GEHSMS, and relevant EHS standards.QualificationsKnowledge/SkillAt least an industrial training institute (ITI) graduate.Basic communication skills.Good working attitude.Ability to handle and operate process equipment independently.ExperienceMinimum of two years working experience in a manufacturing processing environment.
