Scaffolding Design Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide scaffolding and temporary works design schemes for various projectsDevelop detailed engineering drawings and calculationsEnsure all designs adhere to the latest codes of practice, UAE regulations and Company policiesApply engineering knowledge to analyse the structural integrity of scaffolding and temporary works structuresEnsure designs are compliant with relevant safety and regulatory standardsConduct site surveys, collect and assess site information, liaise with clients and site teamsCollaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure project requirements are metUnderstand the practicalities of the erection, use and dismantle of scaffolding functions in key industry sectors, and apply this knowledge to improve our service provisionAccurate and timely delivery of scaffold design requirementsMaintain accurate documentation and records of design activitiesQualifications and Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringMinimum 5 years’ experience in Scaffolding design and engineeringGood understanding of AutoCAD 2D & 3DAbility to use Staad Analysis software, ROBOT or similar software.Knowledge of the main requirements of Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) RegulationsKnowledge of the main requirements of TG20-21 Design & OperationKnowledge of the main requirements of The Work at Height Regulations (WAHR)Strong knowledge of the relevant UAE and GCC StandardsKnowledge of Events Guidelines - Temporary Demountable Structures would be advantageous.Proficiency in G-Suit, Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word.Excellent English language communication skills both written and spokenExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentExcellent prioritisation and organisational skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
