Security Officer

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises employees and visitors. This position requires a detailoriented individual with excellent observation skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.Patrol and monitor assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows and gatesRespond promptly to alarms and emergency situations coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessaryMonitor and control access to the facility including checking identification and issuing visitor badgesConduct security screenings of personnel, vehicles and materials entering the premisesOperate and monitor surveillance equipment including CCTV systemsInvestigate and document security breaches, incidents and suspicious activitiesPerform regular safety and security checks to identify potential hazards or vulnerabilitiesAssist in the development and implementation of security policies and proceduresProvide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and assertive demeanorCollaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment for all stakeholdersPrepare and maintain accurate logs, reports and records of security-related activitiesParticipate in ongoing security training and stay updated on relevant security protocols and technologiesQualificationsMinimum 35 years of experience as Security Associate in Hotel Operations.Certification in CPR and First AidStrong knowledge of security protocols procedures and best practicesExcellent observation skills and attention to detailProficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Windows and security management systemsOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of peopleDemonstrated ability to remain calm make sound decisions and take appropriate action in emergency situationsPhysical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods and perform security-related dutiesStrong problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situationsExcellent written communication skills for preparing clear and concise reportsFlexibility to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidaysAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamHigh level of integrity reliability and discretionProficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plusRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFulltime#J-18808-Ljbffr
