Our Financial Actuaries are on the frontlines quantifying risk pricing insurance and reserving losses for AIGs major regulated and rated insurance operating companies globally. We are searching for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to support the AIG Actuarial Function in Dubai in all areas of actuarial service delivery with particular emphasis on the non-life business. The role will report to the GCC Head of Actuarial.ResponsibilitiesSupport the calculation of US GAAP and IFRS reserves for the AIG entities in GCCWorking closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all regulatory and actuarial requirements are metAnalytical work including data extraction data transformation and database managementDeliver annual and quarterly actuarial reserving studiesGeneration of reports on profit studies exposure management rate adequacySupport the budgeting process and business partnering by providing ultimate loss ratios by accident year from the reserve study to the businessSupport the bridging initiative between Finance and Pricing Actuarial teams to ensure alignment of views on ultimate losses across functionsSupport the development of processes procedures and metrics to enable the businesses to comply with regulatory requirementsSupport the development of procedures to produce document and report opinions on the adequacy of reinsurance arrangements and align/implement a reinsurance strategy in line with regulatory requirementsGeneration of reports to monitor and communicate business performanceAssistance in the redevelopment and testing of the IT systemsSupport the deliverables and engagement for the annual year-end auditSupport in any project or ad-hoc requirements as neededWhat we're looking forDegree in Actuarial Science Mathematics or related areas requiredRelevant insurance experienceMember of an Actuarial Institution making good progress through examsProven proficiency in actuarial concepts/methodologiesExcellent analytical quantitative and communication skillsGood technical software knowledge such as SQL and/or Python.Team Player with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsAbility to navigate through complexity.Critical thinking & execution skillsAt AIG we value in-person collaboration as a vital part of our culture which is why we ask our team members to be primarily in the office.
