The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enhancing cloud infrastructure and security controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud-based systems and applications.This role requires hands-on experience with GCP services, automation tools, and modern DevOps practices, along with a deep understanding of cloud security best practices and frameworks.ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage secure and scalable infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Implement and maintain robust security controls, including IAM policies, network segmentation, firewall rules, and access governance.Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, patch management cycles, and security reviews across cloud, network, and application layers.Monitor, investigate, and respond to cloud security alerts, incidents, and compliance violations using GCP security and monitoring tools.Automate cloud security operations and infrastructure workflows using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or GCP Deployment Manager.Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation covering cloud security architectures, configurations, procedures, and incident response practices.Continuously evaluate emerging GCP security capabilities, tools, and technologies to enhance overall cloud security posture and operational efficiency.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.4–8 years of experience in cloud security, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure engineering roles.Proven, hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, VPC networking, IAM, Cloud Logging, Cloud Armor, and Security Command Center.Strong understanding of network security, encryption methodologies, identity and access management (IAM), and incident response in cloud‑native environments.Practical experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.Relevant GCP certifications, such as Professional Cloud Security Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect, are preferred.Preferred SkillsExperience with SIEM tools and log analysis.Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and security testing.Understanding of compliance frameworks and data protection regulations.Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.What We OfferA collaborative environment focused on innovation and security excellence.Opportunities for professional growth and cloud certification support.Exposure to modern cloud technologies and global‑scale projects.LocationWorkplace type: On‑Site.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeGet notified about new Senior Infrastructure Engineer jobs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.#J-18808-Ljbffr
