Senior Design Coordinator

Min. Degree:Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering.PurposeThe Senior Design Coordinator is responsible for leading and coordinating multidisciplinary design activities to ensure that all design deliverables comply with project requirements, applicable codes, standards, and authority regulations. The role acts as a key interface between clients, consultants, and internal design teams, ensuring seamless coordination, timely delivery, and resolution of technical issues throughout the design development stages.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage multidisciplinary design inputs across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.Ensure all design deliverables comply with project specifications, contractual requirements, and relevant local and international codes and standards.Liaise effectively with clients, authorities, consultants, and internal project teams to facilitate design approvals and address technical queries.Review design submissions, drawings, reports, and specifications to ensure quality, coordination, and constructability.Identify, analyze, and resolve design conflicts, inconsistencies, and technical issues in a timely manner.Monitor design progress against agreed schedules and support the project team in meeting key milestones.Coordinate authority submission packages and support the approval process with relevant UAE/GCC authorities.Participate in design coordination meetings, workshops, and technical reviews.Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers and discipline engineers as required.Ensure design changes are properly managed, documented, and communicated to all stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering.Minimum 15 years of experience in design coordination, preferably within a consultancy environment.Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC authority requirements, codes, standards, and approval processes.Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams on complex projects.Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail and design quality.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.Experience on large-scale commercial, residential or mixed-use, projects is preferred.Available in UAE / Immediate joiners preferredPioneer IPMC was established to provide integrated Project Management Consultancy Services across a wide range of sectors and industries.
