This is a short-term, high-impact contract role focused on establishing strong foundations, improving UI consistency, and enabling scalable frontend practices across digital platforms.</p><p>The ideal candidate is strategic yet hands-on, capable of quickly assessing the current state, defining a clear roadmap, and delivering measurable improvements within a 3-month engagement.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Assess the current state of the design system and identify gaps</li><li>Define and execute a focused 3-month roadmap with clear deliverables</li><li>Establish governance frameworks and contribution models</li><li>Lead development or refinement of reusable UI components, tokens, and patterns</li><li>Align UX, frontend engineering, and brand standards</li><li>Ensure accessibility (WCAG), responsiveness, and performance best practices</li><li>Implement documentation standards and version control processes</li><li>Drive stakeholder alignment and adoption across product teams</li><li>Provide mentorship and recommendations for long-term sustainability</li></ul><ul><li>8+ years of experience in UI/UX, frontend engineering, or digital product development</li><li>Proven experience building or scaling enterprise design systems</li><li>Strong expertise in component-based architecture and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)</li><li>Deep understanding of design tokens, theming, and UI governance</li><li>Experience implementing accessibility standards (WCAG)</li><li>Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills</li><li>Ability to deliver results in short, high-impact engagements</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
