Senior iOS Engineer (B2C, Large-scale experience)

With a strong background in software engineering and leadership, we help companies build high-performing teams by matching them with professionals who truly fit their needs.</p><h3>About the Role</h3><p>We are looking for an iOS Engineer to join our of the most popular social media companies in the world and to help them grow internationally through translations and guest experiences.</p><p>You will contribute to the full development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.</p><p>You will be responsible for managing your task list pipeline as well as communicating your progress throughout the task life cycle.</p><p>You will be aiding the development, maintenance, and support of our platform's iOS features.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Design, build, and ship iOS features, experiments and products for millions of users to support our international growth.</li><li>Communicate effectively, within the team and across disciplines.</li><li>Work closely with product managers and designers to craft compelling user experiences.</li><li>Contribute meaningfully to our team’s strategy.</li><li>We give everyone a seat at the table and encourage active participation in planning our future.</li><li>Don’t just come along for the ride.</li><li>Participate in product reviews and team meetings, providing technical insight.</li><li>Help scope, estimate, and prioritize between conflicting needs.</li><li>Contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch.</li><li>You’ll be reviewing code and design docs, giving feedback on product specs and mocks.</li><li>Participate with a team of thoughtful, fast-moving, and motivated engineers.</li><li>Contribute to standards that improve developer workflows, recommend best practices, and help mentor engineers on the team to grow their technical expertise.</li><li>Continuously learn and improve your technical and non-technical abilities.</li><li>You must have experience working on very complex applications that serve millions of users.</li><li>Engagement duration will be 12-18 months (EOR or Contracting).</li><li>Locations: Ireland, Armenia, Austria, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Croatia, Egypt, Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, United States</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Minimum 5+ years of post-internship, full-time, hands-on, professional software development experience developing user-facing iOS mobile native applications at scale, using Swift.</li><li>Expertise in Swift and Objective-C.</li><li>Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as unit/integration/end-to-end testing, design docs, CI/CD, A/B testing, code reviews, and documentation.</li><li>Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>You collaborate effectively with teams in a fully remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical, professional, hands-on experience.</li><li>You love to build new things and thrive in ambiguity and even failure.</li><li>You care about innovation.</li><li>Additional knowledge around GraphQL, REST, HTTP basics, and the ability to design maintainable APIs is a plus.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
