Senior Joinery Estimator Interiors & Fit Out

We at HALO are urgently looking for a SENIOR JOINERY ESTIMATOR – INTERIORS & FITOUT. The role has been defined as below:Key ResponsibilitiesReview and interpret architectural drawings specifications and tender documentation for bespoke joinery projects.Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, subcontractors, equipment and overheads.Liaise with architects, clients, suppliers and subcontractors to gather information and clarify project requirements.Identify and quantify risks and opportunities in the estimating process.Create and maintain a database of pricing suppliers and subcontractors.Prepare and submit tender documentation and bid proposals.Collaborate with the project management and production teams to ensure estimates align with actual costs and timelines.Conduct post‑tender reviews and cost analysis to inform future estimates.Attend site visits, pre‑tender meetings and client consultations as required.Keep up to date with market trends, costs and developments in materials and construction methods.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of joinery carpentry and woodworking techniques.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Excellent numerical and analytical skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in estimating software Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD (desirable).Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Commercial awareness and understanding of construction industry standards and regulations.Should be ERP software driven.Qualifications & ExperienceProven experience in estimating ideally within the joinery fit‑out or construction sector.Qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or relevant trade background (desirable).Knowledge of timber materials manufacturing processes and cost controls.Interiors – Design & Build Industry experience is an added advantage.All candidates that match the above criteria can email their CVs to /#J-18808-Ljbffr
