The role will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documentation, overseeing legal matters, and providing strategic legal advice to management and business teams.The ideal candidate will have a strong corporate legal background, extensive knowledge of legal practices in the Middle East—particularly the GCC—and experience in the FinTech and digital payments sector . This role requires excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to manage complex legal matters while working closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel.Objectives of this RoleProvide legal guidance and strategic advice to business teams and senior management.Ensure the company operates in compliance with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements.Draft, review, and negotiate legal contracts and agreements.Oversee the company’s legal operations and documentation processes.Review business, regulatory, and tax strategies to identify potential risks or opportunities.Support the business in navigating legal and regulatory matters related to FinTech and digital financial services .Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and maintain legal documents, policies, and templates.Negotiate and manage agreements with partners, vendors, and third parties.Identify and assess potential legal and regulatory risks to the business.Guide management through litigation processes and coordinate with external legal counsel when required.Ensure compliance with regional laws and regulations, particularly in GCC jurisdictions .Provide legal support for FinTech operations, digital payments, and financial technology initiatives .Monitor regulatory developments relevant to the company’s industry.RequirementsSkills and QualificationsFluency in Arabic and English , with strong legal drafting skills in both languages.Strong understanding of corporate law and legal defense strategies .Knowledge of FinTech regulations, digital payments, and financial technology frameworks .Familiarity with legislation and regulatory practices across the Middle East and GCC .Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Qualifications7–10+ years of legal experience , preferably in corporate law or in-house legal roles.Previous experience in FinTech, payments, e-commerce, or financial services .Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.Knowledge of internal business operations and regulatory compliance frameworks.#J-18808-Ljbffr
