This role will play a critical part in defining the manufacturing strategy, assessing scalability, and ensuring technical and commercial feasibility. The ideal candidate combines hands‑on industrial experience with strategic thinking and will work closely with internal teams and external partners to bring manufacturing capabilities to production scale.This is a 12‑month contract position.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and assess the overall manufacturing strategy for ceramic‑based water membranes, identifying the most viable techno‑economic scale‑up pathwayEvaluate manufacturing processes, including ceramic scaffolds and coating applications on ceramic substratesAssess manufacturability, scalability, and industrial feasibility (cost, quality, and operational complexity)Analyze and compare manufacturing models (in‑house, outsourced, and hybrid approaches)Evaluate supply chain robustness and supply security risksDefine quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., NSF certifications)Lead technical discussions with external partners, including manufacturers and technology providersIdentify and engage potential equipment suppliers and manufacturing partnersProvide structured recommendations balancing technical, operational, and commercial considerationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field15+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably in ceramics, membranes and coating of membranesProven experience scaling manufacturing processes from pilot to industrial productionStrong knowledge of ceramic processing and coating technologiesExperience setting up or optimizing manufacturing linesFamiliarity with quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements in industrial productionPreferred QualificationsAdvanced degree (PhD or MBA) in a relevant fieldExperience in water treatment, filtration, or membrane technologiesStrong network of manufacturing partners, coating technology providers, and equipment suppliersExperience working with contract manufacturers or external production partnersKnowledge of advanced coating techniquesHow To ApplyAre you ready to embark on an exciting journey with VentureOne?
