Job Description

OverviewClient is seeking a senior, results-oriented professional with 6–10 years of relevant experience to support and strengthen its academic–industry engagement and placement ecosystem. Reporting to the Head – Placements, the role involves leading placement and internship initiatives, managing and mentoring a small team, and working closely with corporate partners and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage end-to-end placement and internship activities for assigned programsSupervise, guide, and mentor placement team members, ensuring effective execution of goalsDrive final placements and internship opportunities through sustained corporate engagementBuild, develop, and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, recruiters, alumni, and internal stakeholdersIdentify and develop new industry partnerships and strategic placement opportunities aligned with institutional objectivesAnalyse market trends, hiring patterns, and placement data to support strategic planning and decision-makingPrepare and present placement reports, dashboards, proposals, and reviews for senior managementCoordinate with cross-border and regional teams to support international business and placement objectivesRepresent Client at corporate meetings, networking events, alumni interactions, and industry forumsRequirements6–10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in placements, corporate relations, talent acquisition, or academic–industry interface rolesDemonstrated experience in team handling, mentoring, or project leadershipStrong communication, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skillsProven ability to operate effectively in a multicultural and international environmentHands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership and execution capabilityAbility to manage multiple priorities and tight timelines with minimal supervisionMBA / PGDM or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a reputed institutionPrior experience working in GCC / Middle East marketsStrong client-facing and senior stakeholder management exposureUnderstanding of regional hiring practices, labour norms, and compliance frameworks#J-18808-Ljbffr
