Senior Procurement Executive / Manager

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager who will be responsible for the complete procurement and inventory management and developing new strategies to reduce cost and to improve quality. Also to ensure that the quality of goods received is as per the requirement and that the purchases are done at the best price and within the annual budget.Roles & ResponsibilityDeveloping sound costeffective strategies for the purchasing of materials used in the businessMaintaining relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendorsEvaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveriesCommunicating with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods and services affecting productionConducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvementDeveloping risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of product shortagesSupervising a purchasing team and delegating tasks across departments when necessaryWorking closely with the company legal department to make sure contracts and terms are favorable.Inventory management planning and forecasting for the replenishment & supply chain strategies.ERP Implementation in line with the best procurement and inventory management processes.RequirementsKnowledge of purchasing in GCC.Sound knowledge of international logistic/freight forwarding & supply chain channels.Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.Experience of Flowers Bakery Gifting FMGC Ecommerce Industries.Ability to make decisions in accordance with responsibilities.The incumbent works with a high degree of independence in performing his duties.Required to be a computer literate.Must also function well in a team environment and have the ability to work well under pressure.A strategic thinker with commercial acumen to understand business needs and identify opportunities to support them through procurement.Able to turn strategies into tactical plans which can give better resultsCreate and maintain accurate and detailed reports.#J-18808-Ljbffr
