Senior Project Specialist

OverviewWe're hiring: Senior Project Specialist. Location: Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia. Status: Full-time. Discipline: Exploration & Geosciences. We are looking for a Senior Project Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience and technical capabilities in geological and geotechnical operations, combined with strong supervisory and coordination skills. This role involves working in remote and rugged terrain, leading field teams, and ensuring quality and efficiency across geotechnical projects.Core Competencies & SkillsTechnical SkillsExperience in core sampling, recovery tracking, and geotechnical logging.Ability to identify and resolve field sampling issues.Familiarity with GPS devices, mapping tools, and laptop-based data entry.Understanding of geological environments and sample documentation.4WD driving proficiency with a valid driver’s license.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues in the field.Analytical & Problem-Solving SkillsHigh attention to detail and data accuracy.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate project challenges.Ability to analyze field data and contribute to process optimization.Personal & Interpersonal SkillsExcellent communication skills with both field teams and management.Proven leadership and team supervision experience.Strong physical and mental stamina to work in remote field environments.Flexibility, adaptability, and time management skills.Commitment to safety protocols and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct site visits and field mapping.Supervise and monitor drilling rigs setup and operations.Oversee RQD, recovery, and meter marking processes.Take structural measurements and manage sample collection.Lead field and sampling teams, delegate tasks, and ensure QA/QC standards are met.Coordinate with geologists and project management for task execution.Interpret field data and identify geological anomalies.Ensure proper documentation (photos, GPS data, reports).Supervise daily field operations and ensure task completion.Ensure that all fieldwork is executed according to geotechnical standards.Take directions from geologists and support ongoing QA/QC efforts.Train and mentor junior staff in technical and safety procedures.Qualifications & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required; geological studies preferred.+10 years of experience in field exploration activities.Technical knowledge in using field and digital tools (GPS, laptop, cameras, etc.)First Aid and remote work safety trainingExperience working in diverse terrains and challenging environmentsWhy Join Us?If you're a detail-oriented, hands-on professional with a passion for fieldwork and team leadership, we want to hear from you.
