Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our site-based construction management team you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying for large-scale projects in the region.Prepare and analyze bills of quantities, cost estimates and tender documents for construction projectsConduct on-site measurements and valuations to track project progress and costsManage contract administration including change orders, variations and claimsNegotiate with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutionsProvide expert advice on contractual and commercial matters to project stakeholdersPrepare regular cost reports and forecasts for senior managementImplement and maintain cost control systems to monitor project expendituresCollaborate with project managers and other team members to optimize project deliveryEnsure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAEIdentify and mitigate potential cost risks throughout the project lifecycleQualificationsBachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related fieldProfessional certification from a recognized quantity surveying body (e.g. RICS, AACE)Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying with a focus on site-based roles, including a minimum 3 years in Supervision Consultancy and an overall experience of 15 yearsProven track record in managing large-scale construction projectsProficiency in quantity surveying software such as CostX and BuildsoftStrong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detailExcellent communication and negotiation skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteIn-depth knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processesFamiliarity with construction industry standards and practicesUnderstanding of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAEAbility to work effectively in a fast‑paced dynamic environmentStrong organizational and time‑management skillsWillingness to work on‑site and travel as requiredAdditional InformationRemote Work: NoEmployment Type: Full‑time#J-18808-Ljbffr
