Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job DescriptionPre-Contract ManagementReview and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify commercial and contractual risks.Prepare and finalize contract agreements, RFPs, ITTs, addenda, and clarifications in line with WSP and client standards.Conduct cost estimation, commercial analysis, and review subcontractor/supplier quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.Assess contractual risks and ensure compliance with company policies and client procedures.Coordinate with engineering, design, finance, and legal teams to ensure completeness of tender submissions.Participate in pre-tender meetings, clarifications, and negotiations with clients and consultants.Support value engineering initiatives to optimize design and cost efficiency.ResponsibilitiesBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.MMUP (Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning) certification is a plus.Minimum of 15 years in contract and commercial management within the construction industry.At least 5 years of experience working on Ashghal infrastructure projects.Proven track record in managing FIDIC-based contracts and handling claims and disputes.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.In-depth knowledge of Qatari construction laws and regulations.QualificationsAt WSP, you can access our global scale, contribute to landmark projects, and connect with the brightest minds in your field to do the best work of your life.
