Senior Resident Engineer Private Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Resident Engineer to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our engineering department you will oversee and manage large-scale construction projects for private developers ensuring quality safety and compliance with local regulations.ResponsibilitiesProvide on-site engineering expertise and leadership throughout all phases of construction projectsCollaborate with project managers contractors and clients to ensure project goals and timelines are metReview and approve engineering designs drawings and specificationsConduct regular site inspections and quality control checksResolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions to complex engineering problemsEnsure compliance with local building codes safety standards and environmental regulationsManage project budgets and resources effectivelyPrepare and present detailed progress reports to stakeholdersMentor and guide junior engineers on the teamLiaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies as neededQualificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferredProfessional Engineering (PE) license or equivalentMinimum of 20 years of experience in engineering with at least 5 years in a senior resident engineer roleProven experience working with private developers on large-scale construction projectsAdvanced knowledge of engineering principles and practicesProficiency in project management software and CAD applicationsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsIn-depth knowledge of construction methodologies and best practicesUnderstanding of contract management and dispute resolutionFamiliarity with UAE construction standards and regulationsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced multicultural environmentStrong leadership and team management skillsAdditional InformationAbout AECOMWe are proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
