And our amazing Team Members are at the heart of it all!As Senior Sales Manager you will lead the Sales team of the hotel and analyse local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:What will I be doingAnalysis of local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leadsDevelop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streamsNegotiate room rates/packages with corporate GM&E Government and all other clientsDevelop and implement creative local marketing channels including social media channelsPrepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditionsWork within current business strategies and recognising potential opportunitiesCooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong comprehensive sales programsAttend Sales events as requiredSupport the hotel team in absence of the Commercial DirectorProduce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the commercial Director and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leadsPrepare weekly and monthly sales reportsAnswer customer queries in a prompt and professional mannerManage team performance and incentive programme in compliance with company policies and proceduresRecruit, manage, train and develop the Sales teamEOE/AA/Disabled/VeteransRequired ExperienceManager#J-18808-Ljbffr
