Senior Traffic Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Traffic Engineer to join our team for a major infrastructure and stormwater project in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in traffic engineering, with a strong background in traffic impact assessments, modeling, and planning within large-scale infrastructure projects.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering (Master’s preferred).Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in traffic engineering within large infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of Saudi traffic regulations, urban mobility principles, and traffic safety standards.Proficient in traffic simulation and modeling software (e.g., SYNCHRO, VISSIM, SIDRA, HCS).Previous experience in stormwater-related infrastructure projects is a plus.Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.Experience working with international engineering consultancies is preferred.Valid membership in a recognized engineering council; SCE registration preferred.Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact. Apply today.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and review of traffic impact studies, transport assessments, and traffic management plans.Support the design and planning of road networks and stormwater infrastructure with traffic engineering inputs.Use traffic modeling tools (e.g., SYNCHRO, VISSIM, SIDRA) to analyze and optimize traffic flow and intersection performance.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including roadway, drainage, and urban planning engineers.Ensure compliance with local and international traffic engineering standards and guidelines.Review contractor submissions, design drawings, and specifications related to traffic and transport.Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and site inspections as required.Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.#J-18808-Ljbffr
