About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Server & Storage Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain mission‑critical server and storage solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability across the enterprise environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage VMware virtualization infrastructure, including vSphere clusters and vCenter ServerAdminister and optimize Dell EMC VxRail or equivalent hyper‑converged infrastructurePerform server management tasks on Windows and Linux platforms, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshootingImplement and maintain SAN and NAS storage environments, including LUN provisioning, replication, and snapshot managementMonitor system performance, capacity planning, and perform tuning for servers and storage subsystemsCollaborate with network, backup, and security teams to integrate and secure infrastructure componentsDevelop and maintain documentation for architecture, procedures, and troubleshooting guidesProvide 3rd‑level support for complex infrastructure incidents and participate in on‑call rotationEvaluate new storage and server technologies and recommend enhancements to improve reliability and efficiencyRequired Qualifications8+ years of hands‑on experience in server and storage engineering or similar roleExpertise in VMware virtualization technologies (vSphere, vCenter, hosts, HA/DRS)Proven experience with Dell EMC VxRail or comparable hyper‑converged platformsStrong server management skills on Windows Server and Linux distributionsIn‑depth knowledge of SAN/NAS storage systems (e.g., EMC, NetApp) and storage protocols (iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS)Experience with capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting server/storage infrastructureBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldPreferred QualificationsVMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent virtualization certificationEMC or NetApp storage certification (e.g., EMCSA, NCDA)Experience with software‑defined storage solutions and cloud integrationFamiliarity with automation and scripting tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, or PythonStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detailEffective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
