Site Construction Manager

Assures that the scope of work is executed with regard to HSE quality time budget and contractual requirementsDemonstrate leadership and commitment to safety. Actively implement and promote the project HSE program.Encourage and motivate the site team (KVI and contractors) to work safely.Responsible for the safety of the KVI site team and the safety performance of contractors under his controlRepresents Kanadevia Inova towards business partnersManagement of Supervisor functions in the teamReporting and Deputizingthe Site ManagerMonitoring of Construction schedule and elaboration and implementation of remedy measures in case of deviationsReview of construction progressMonitors elaboration and provision of construction preparation documents conceptsMonitors detail construction planning done by supervisors and subcontractorsOversees sub-contractors reporting and provided input to site managers reportingCooperation daily coordination and exchange of experience with site staff functions and other project teams and departmentsCoordination of works executed by sub-contractors or other business partners who are within the scopeAssures that weekly meetings with contractors are hold and recordedVerification of change requests (technical time and costs) / lessons learned and presentation of a proposal for decision to the Site Manager and Project Construction ManagerContribution in preparation and follow-up of deviations and claimsCoordination of intermediate inspection and Mechanical & Electrical Completion testsQualifications :Substantial experience in construction from both EPC and Contractors side on a large-scale Industrial/ Process plants as Construction Manager/ Site ManagerStrong working knowledge on projectslike Power Generation andEfW (Energy from Waste) ProjectsAbility to manage big team sizesand contractors with varied scope within theirarea of activityCoordination of a wide range of construction activities and site trouble-shooting.Ability to represent KVI in frontconsortiumpartners clients and subcontractors.Knowledge of Safety Management requirements (legislation)Good knowledge and experience in Microsoft applicationsValid HSE Training Certificate (Safety Certificate for Contractors)Knowledge in Contract Management and negotiations with subcontractors.Able to negotiate in English.
