This role is critical to ensuring that all software products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability across fast-paced project environments.Detailed Job DescriptionAs a Software Tester / QA Engineer, you will take ownership of testing activities across multiple software applications, ensuring defects are identified early and resolved efficiently. You will work closely with development teams to define test strategies, build test cases, and drive continuous improvements across the QA lifecycle. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and commitment to quality will play a key role in delivering exceptional products for Gulf Skilled’s clients.✅ Key ResponsibilitiesExecute manual and automated test cases across web and mobile applicationsIdentify, document, and track software defects through to resolutionCollaborate with developers and product teams to define clear acceptance criteriaPerform functional, regression, integration, and performance testingDevelop and maintain testing documentation including test plans and test reportsContribute to QA process improvements and best practicesValidate system behavior across different environments and platformsRequired Qualifications & SkillsProven experience as a Software Tester or QA EngineerStrong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect managementHands‑on experience with test case design, execution, and reportingFamiliarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps)Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenariosStrong communication skills and ability to work in remote teams✨ Nice‑to‑Have SkillsExperience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)Knowledge of API testing (Postman, Swagger, REST/SOAP)Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration with testing workflowsExposure to performance or security testingISTQB or other QA-related certificationsRecruitment Pro TipIn your CV, highlight specific projects where your testing efforts directly improved product quality or reduced production defects—quantifiable results make your application stand out immediately in QA-focused roles.#J-18808-Ljbffr
