We are seeking a passionate and qualified Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team.The Role:As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and social development of students with special needs in an elementary school setting. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to create a positive and effective learning environment for all students.Responsibilities:Individual support: Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs, implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Classroom integration: Assist teachers in adapting curriculum and instruction to meet the individual needs of students with special needs.Social-emotional learning: Foster positive social interactions and emotional well‑being among students with special needs.Data collection and progress monitoring: Collaborate with teachers to track student progress and inform instructional decisions.Communication and collaboration: Maintain effective communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals regarding student needs and progress.Positive environment: Create a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters acceptance and inclusion for all students.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field (preferred) ORMinimum of 5 years of experience working in special education within a school setting.Strong understanding of child development and diverse learning needs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.Adaptability, patience, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.Proficiency in implementing evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions.Commitment to inclusivity and creating a positive learning environment for all students.Additional Information:Competitive salary and benefits package offered.Professional development opportunities provided.Opportunity to work with a supportive and collaborative team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
