The Senior Manager, Launch Quality is responsible for leading all Quality activities for new vehicle programs within Lucid Motors Middle East, ensuring flawless execution from early development through ramp up and SOP. This role drives cross functional alignment, establishes robust launch Quality systems, and supports greenfield plant readiness. With extensive OEM experience, the Senior Manager ensures that new models meet world class Quality standards, while building strong processes, teams, and capabilities that support long term Lean and Manufacturing Operational Excellence. You Will: Launch Quality Leadership: Lead all Quality related activities for new vehicle programs, from concept through SOP and early ramp up. Develop and execute comprehensive Launch Quality Plans, including APQP deliverables, Quality gates, and readiness metrics. Oversee prototype, pilot, and pre production build Quality, ensuring early detection and resolution of issues. Drive Design for Quality (DFQ) integration with Product and Manufacturing Engineering teams. Ensure PPAP, DVPR, process validation, and control plan readiness for all launch components and systems. Ensure Quality Operations Readiness cross functionally in collaboration with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Quality, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Learning & Development, Human Resources. Greenfield Plant Quality Readiness Establish Quality systems, standards, and processes for new manufacturing sites. Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new production lines and equipment. Build launch specific Quality procedures, launch control plans, inspection standards, and sampling strategies tailored to EV manufacturing. Ensure deployment of Core Quality Tools to support the built in Quality (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC ). Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and customer requirements. Track and report launch Quality KPIs, risks, and mitigation plans to executive leadership. Support benchmarking, capability improvements, and Quality operating system enhancements. Lead structured problem solving for launch, ramp up and early field issues. Implement robust issues management processes to ensure timely closure of critical launch concerns. Drive lessons learned from previous launches and ensure their integration into future programs. Monitor early warranty, in station Quality, end of line performance, and launch defect rates and drive associated corrective actions. Monitor Supplier issues from Launch to SOP in coordination with Supplier Quality Development to ensure parts readiness and maturity. Cross Functional Collaboration Serve as the primary interface between plant Quality, product engineering, and program leadership for all launch Quality topics. Collaborate with Supplier Quality to ensure supplier readiness, PPAP approvals, and incoming Quality performance. Partner with Manufacturing, NPI, and Operations to ensure Clear to Build readiness for new programs. Facilitate cross functional reviews on open issues ensuring alignment on priorities and closure plans. Establish a culture of accountability, data driven decision making, and continuous improvement. Coordinate resources, timelines, and deliverables across the Launch Quality organization. You Bring: Bachelor's or Master degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field. Minimum of 12 years of experience in automotive OEMs, including: Leading multiple new vehicles launch from concept to full production capacity, and greenfield plant launch or major plant expansions. Extensive experience with APQP, PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA, and EV specific Quality requirements. Strong understanding of vehicle systems and architecture. Demonstrated success in issues management, early field Quality, and warranty reduction. Ability to travel up to 25%. Strong leadership with proven ability to manage complex, cross functional launch programs. Deep expertise in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and structured problem solving.
