The idealcandidate will have extensive experience in construction cost management,strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate with contractors,vendors, and project teams to ensure projects are executed within budget andcontractual requirements.KeyResponsibilitiesTake overallresponsibility for cost management, BOQ preparation, and contractadministration for assigned projects.Develop andimplement cost control strategies and procedures to optimize project costsand minimize expenses.Conduct costanalysis, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring accurate cost estimationsand monitoring actual costs against budgets.Monitor projectcosts throughout the project lifecycle, identifying deviations andimplementing corrective actions.Administercontracts, review and negotiate contract terms, pricing, and variations incollaboration with legal and stakeholders.Ensure compliancewith contractual obligations, monitor contractor performance, and manageclaims or change orders.Evaluate vendorproposals, conduct prequalification, and participate in vendor selectionprocesses.Maintain strongvendor relationships, monitor compliance, and review/approve vendorinvoices and payments.Generate regularreports on project costs, cost variances, contract performance, andprovide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.Collaborate withcross-functional teams to gather cost data, validate expenses, and provideguidance on cost-related matters.Ensure compliancewith internal control procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.RequiredQualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degreein Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master’sdegree preferred).Minimum 7 years ofexperience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects, preferably inthe UAE.In-depth knowledgeof cost control principles, preparation of BOQ, contract management, andproject management.Strong analyticaland financial skills, with the ability to analyze cost data, identifytrends, and make informed recommendations.Excellentnegotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborateeffectively with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.Proficiency incost control software, project management tools, and financial analysissoftware.Attention todetail and ability to maintain accuracy in cost calculations, contractadministration, and documentation.Strong timemanagement and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meetdeadlines.Willingness towork on remote sites in Liwa, Al Dhafra Region, Abu Dhabi.WhyJoin Us?At KNInternational, we are committed to delivering excellence in infrastructuresolutions.
