SSS- Construction Steel Structure SupervisorThe Hail and Ghasha projectis located about 250 Km from Abu Dhabi city, combines innovativedecarbonization technologies into one integrated solution. The projectwill capture 1.5 million tonnes per year (mtpa) of CO2, while low-carbonhydrogen is produced that can replace fuel gas and further reduceemissions. The project will also leverage clean power from nuclear andrenewable sources from the grid.He directs Subcontractoractivities for his own discipline, ensuring that Plant Constructionworks are performed according to the erection schedules and Projectdocuments, within the assigned cost budget, and according to Quality& Safety procedures, as well as according to the terms andconditions of the subcontract. One or more assistants may support him.Duties and responsibilitiesPrior to the start of works, to check the Supplier’s material andtechnical documentation delivery schedule. Check that the same is inline with Construction schedules and contractual commitments.Prior to he starts of works, control and approve the MethodStatements submitted by the Subcontractors, ensuring their correctapplication on the field.He ensures the implementation of all the HSE procedures andstandards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) ofresponsibilities.He directly participates to the HSE activities at site as definedfor his position in the Site HSE plan and related proceduresTo check that the said schedule is kept to, and to promote actionto recover any delay.To check that the equipment and manpower employed by theSubcontractor are adequate and that the works performed by theSubcontractor conform to design documents, Safety regulations, and tothe Quality level fixed by the same.Perform inspections and sign the necessary certificates as perSite Inspection Plans.To prepare the non-conformity register for each Subcontractor andco-ordinate nonconformity resolution.To detect any design errors, and where possible rectify the sameor request the Site Engineer to make the necessary changes.To check Subcontractors’ work progress status sheets and sign thesame for approval.To assist the Contract Manager/Engineer in defining new prices,in preparing amendments to subcontracts and in analysing and discussingclaims.Person SpecificationKnowledge & QualificationsUniversity Degree orDiploma in relevant discipline orequivalent.ExperienceSignificant experience in the industrial construction of large orXL gas plants.Covered a similar role in at least 2-3 projects of comparablesize.A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.Experience working on the Contractor side.Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communications and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail, management skills.Team-oriented skills, self-motivation, and direction, with strongbias toward timely performance and problem resolution.#J-18808-Ljbffr
