The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel fixing and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret construction plans and blueprints to determine the layout and placement of steel barsMeasure and cut steel bars to specific lengths using a variety of tools and equipmentBend and shape steel bars using manual or automated techniquesSecure steel bars in place by tying, welding, or bolting them to structural elementsEnsure that all steel bars are properly aligned and placed according to the specificationsUse concrete pumps and cranes to lift and position heavy steel barsInspect and repair damaged or defective steel bars as neededAdhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while working on construction sitesCommunicate with other team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and timely completion of projectsMaintain a clean and organized work area at all timesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of experience as a steel fixer in the construction industryKnowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques used in steel fixingAbility to read and interpret construction plans and blueprintsStrong mathematical skills and ability to accurately measure and cut steel barsAttention to detail and ability to work with precisionPhysically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditionsGood communication and teamwork skillsValid safety certifications and training preferredBenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for growth and advancement within the companyHealth insurance coveragePaid vacation and sick leaveTraining and development programsSafe and supportive work environmentIf you are a skilled and motivated Steel Fixer looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity, we encourage you to apply for this position.
