Structural Bridges/ Tunnels SME

ResponsibilitiesAct as the technical authority for all bridge and tunnel structural works on the projectReview and approve design drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reportsEnsure compliance with international standards, local codes, and client requirementsProvide expert input on complex structural systems, including bridges, tunnels, underpasses, and interchangesSupport the PMC team during construction, design changes, and technical issue resolutionReview and respond to technical queries (TQs), RFIs, and NCRs related to structural worksParticipate in constructability reviews, value engineering, and risk assessmentsCoordinate with civil, geotechnical, utilities, and construction teams to ensure interface alignmentAttend and contribute to technical workshops, coordination meetings, and design reviewsMonitor contractor compliance with approved designs and method statementsProvide guidance on temporary works, staging, and traffic management impacts related to structuresSupport tender evaluations from a technical and constructability perspectiveAssist in resolving claims and disputes related to structural design or construction issuesReview inspection, testing, and quality control procedures for bridges and tunnelsSupport project close-out activities, including as-built reviews and handover documentationMentor and advise junior structural engineers within the PMC teamEssential RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil EngineeringMinimum 15 years of experience, with strong expertise in bridges and tunnel projectsProven experience working within a PMC or consultancy environmentStrong knowledge of international design codes (AASHTO, Eurocodes, BS, etc.)Experience with major infrastructure and road projects in the GCC or Saudi Arabia preferredExcellent technical judgment, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
