We are committed to delivering world‑class solutions that are innovative and efficient, while always putting safety first.About The JobResponsible for technical and operational supervision of Jack Up units, ensuring the units are maintained in safe condition, including their operating systems, procedures are well addressed and adhered to the unit crews and complied with, at all times.Job Specific Accountabilities Part 1Minimize Jack up unit downtime.Maintain and improve operational capabilities of all designated Jack Up unitsMaintain cost control through complying to budget threshold.Ensure project deadlines are met in effective and efficient mannerPromote an incident free safety cultureAchieve 100% internal and external customer satisfactionContribute to continuous improvement initiativesMaintain JUM Class, compliance with ISM, statutory and local regulationsSystematic and scheduled Jack up units’ planned maintenance program.Ensure compliance of units with IMS requirementsRecommend cost savings initiatives, without compromising on safety & integrity parametersMonitor all class, flag and required certification for assigned Jack Up units and advise line management accordinglyArrange class surveyors attending Jack Up units for statutory surveys and maintain Jack Up units to class standardsEnsure valid navigational licenses and security passes for the units; and crew staff on boardEnsure technical compliance with local regulations and those defined in charter partiesEngage with management team to rectify and close out SDR’s in a timely mannerOperational PlansContribute to consistent and realistic long- and short-term operational plans for the Department in line with the Division objectives and manage the implementation of the approved long- and short-term plans and ensure they are effectively converted into its performance objectives to realise the Division Objectives and established service levels.Budgets and Operational PlansContribute to the Department annual budget in line with the Division’s business objectives and operational plans ensuring that adequate funding provision is made for all Department activities.Monitor expenditure against approved Department budget on a regular basis; investigate, highlight and reconcile any significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost control.Minimum RequirementsSTCW III/2 Certificate of Competency or a Mechanical EngineeringMarine Engineer certificationAt least 7 years of relevant experienceProficient in English.#J-18808-Ljbffr
