Job Description

The Supervisor – Reliability is responsible for monitoring and improving equipment reliability, availability, and lifecycle performance through data-driven analysis and failure diagnostics.The role focuses on identifying failure patterns, conducting root cause analysis, and recommending preventive actions to improve fleet performance and minimize operational downtime.The position functions as an analytical support role within the Excellence Department, providing insights to operations, maintenance, and planning teams.Principal AccountabilitiesReliability MonitoringMonitor equipment reliability metrics and operational performance.Track failure patterns, downtime trends, and performance deviations.Failure AnalysisConduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.Identify chronic failure trends and recommend corrective measures.Reliability Data ManagementMaintain a centralized equipment reliability database.Track historical equipment performance and failure patterns.Fleet Performance AnalyticsAnalyze equipment performance indicators such as MTBF, MTTR, and downtime.Identify operational inefficiencies impacting equipment reliability.Predictive Maintenance SupportSupport development of predictive maintenance strategies.Analyze data from telematics and equipment monitoring systems.Continuous ImprovementRecommend process improvements to reduce equipment failures.Support maintenance and operations teams in improving reliability outcomes.Audit SupportProvide support during internal audits, external audits, and ISO assessments by supplying required evidence, explanations, and clarification related to equipment governance and assurance findings.Independent ReportingPrepare and submit objective, unbiased audit reports to Equipment Excellence leadership, highlighting systemic issues, trends, and governance risks while maintaining independence from operational influence.Policies, Processes & ProceduresFollow all company and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is performed in a controlled, consistent, and auditable manner.Comply with all applicable safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to support a healthy, safe, and compliant working environment.Adhere to all information security policies and standards, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and protection of equipment, operational, and performance data accessed during audit activities.Required Academic QualificationQualification: Bachelor’s DegreeCategory: EngineeringOther Requirements: Technical certificates in equipment safety.
