About the job Tailor Master Cutter (Female)We are looking for a talented and experienced Tailor, Master Cutter for a Private company in Abu Dhabi.Growing your career as a Full Time Master Cutter is an amazing opportunity to develop exceptional skills.If you are strong in persuasion, and project management and have the right personality for the job, then apply for the position of Master Cutter today!ResponsibilitiesMaking garments (e.g. gowns, dresses, blouses, shirts, pants, skirts, and jackets):Marking patterns and designs or using pre‑designed ones to cut the fabric into the necessary shapes;Drafting, draping, and translating designs from concept to delivery;Imagining how the end garment will look from the pattern design, and altering and repairing garments;Fixing torn or damaged clothing, as well as adjusting clothes for better fit to customers;Ensuring proper measurements, adjustments, and fittings;Working directly with customers: discussing with customers regarding their desired specifications for clothes;Giving customers recommendations regarding fabrics, colors, and styles;Showing customers samples of different fabrics and explaining the qualities of each one;Taking measurements, and ensuring alterations are done on time for when the customer returns;Defining technical specifications for the garments and being knowledgeable about fabrics, patterns, shapes, and colors: selecting and testing different fabrics; knowing about pattern‑making and fittings, adapting and creating patterns as needed; and keeping up‑to‑date with the latest fashion trends and techniques, as well as finding the best quality fabrics;Using specialized equipment such as industrial sewing machines and irons;Organizing and maintaining fabrics, trims, and other materials;Preparing a budget based on time of work, costs of fabrics, and any special materials necessary.Job Requirements1 year of experience.Preferably female.For Men & ladies' suits cutting.Any nationality is welcome.Customer service attitude.Applicants should have a good moral character.Ability to work long hours.Can work under pressure.Medical Insurance & other benefits will be provided as per UAE labor law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
