JOB TITLE: TOOL ROOM TECHNICIANAbout This Job:Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda Kenya Tanzania Rwanda and South Sudan.On behalf of our client we are looking for a competent skilled and experienced Tool Room Technician to work in UAE.Job SummaryMoulds/Tools used in the production of plastic fittings and pipes are properly installed in the machine and carries out planned and preventive maintenance activities.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESMaintenance & Technical OperationsCarries out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities.Attends to complaints raised by Operations, fault finding and rectification of the same.Performs preventive maintenance operations in moulds, dies & tools as per Schedule.Install and set up tools and mould machines based on production requirements.Ensure proper alignment and secure attachment of the mould/Tool to the machine.Compliance & DocumentationEnsures the given checklist points in the monitoring sheet are correct.Ensures proper procedures are followed with respect to maintaining log/activities books, material received from stores, material usage etc.Ensures all the specified points in the monitoring sheets are checked.Strictly follows standard operating procedures and safety policies and procedures.Ensures appropriate usage and storage of material and equipment in hand.Safety & Hazard ManagementHelps in identifying safety and other potential hazards so that appropriate steps can be taken to overcome the same.General Responsibilities & CulturePerforms other tasks as assigned.Fosters a work culture that is built on the foundations of our organizational core values.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEDiploma / Industrial Trade Certificate with at least 2 years of experience in any process plant.Ability to read and interpret manuals, drawings, etc.Knowledge and experience in molding process and extruder a plus.Troubleshooting skills.Good physical condition.Can communicate in English.Interested and qualified applicants should submit their applications through the link below.Note:Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.Q-SOURCING SERVTEC IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
