This role involves ensuring the safe and effective use of blood products, managing complex hematological cases, and leading quality improvement initiatives.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo provide diagnostic and consultative services to physicians and patients in accordance with privileges granted.To participate in educational programs for the staff, Medical Technology students, interns, and residents participate in continuing education for laboratory staff and staff physicians.Serves on Hospital and Departmental committees as directed.Assists with the development and implementation of new techniques and services. Actively participates In the Quality Improvement program.Perform other duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducationGraduate from a medical school of good standing.Completion of the required period of training in hematology transfusion medicine.American board/ FRCS -Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian/Diploma d'Etuded Specialises (DES) / CIS French Board/Facharzt & Sub - Board / Fellowship with Experience as per Job Descriptionpost Board / Fellowship, CCST UK Certificate ofCompletion of Specialist Training (UK).Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as requiredA certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.Dataflow is a must.Professional ExperienceMin. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in hematology transfusion medicine.A registered member of the Saudi Board CouncilLanguageProficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.ReferencesPositive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.#J-18808-Ljbffr
