UPS Service Engineer

Job Title: UPS Service EngineerLocation: Abu Dhabi UAECompany: Mission Critical PowerJob OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and experienced UPS Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and batteries. This role requires ensuring the optimal performance of UPS systems while maintaining minimal disruption to customer operations. The engineer will also liaise with clients and internal teams to advise on current and future UPS requirements and the safe operation of equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance (PPM), fault diagnosis, testing and repairs on UPS systems and batteries.Conduct load bank testing, site surveys, inspections and technical investigations to ensure UPS system performance and reliability.Assist in the installation and commissioning of UPS and battery systems.Carry out battery impedance testing, replacements and installations.Provide prompt breakdown response and technical support to diagnose and resolve UPS system issues.Supervise on‑site activities of electricians, trade helpers and apprentices during UPS installation, maintenance and repair works.Deliver technical guidance and support to both internal teams and clients as required.Accurately complete and submit service reports, action lists and maintenance records in a timely manner.Collaborate with Sales, Service, Design and Project departments to ensure UPS projects are completed professionally, on time and within budget.Conduct hands‑on training for clients, engineers and apprentices on UPS systems as necessary.Identify and report additional sales opportunities and potential leads during site visits.Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, workplace standards and best practices at all times.QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Experience & Skills2–5 years of proven experience in servicing UPS systems.Language proficiency: English & Hindi.Strong technical expertise with the ability to explain complex UPS concepts clearly to customers.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to build rapport and convey ideas persuasively.Highly organized with strong project management skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.UAE Driving license and willingness to travel as required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
