Job Description

Job Title: Vendor Management Specialist Job Purpose Summary Responsible to identify and implement initiatives for optimization and drive operational efficiencies through development and continual improvement of relevant contracts, service renewals, processes, systems and people capabilities in line with the divisional and business objectives for current and future needs of AJMN Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Manage day to day operation with Vendors Enhance external vendor relations. Perform as functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders. Coordinate all vendor management tasks inclusive of working with external vendors and internal employees. Ensure enterprise wide needs for risk assessment and continuing vendor monitoring are being accomplished. Help and coordinate vendor processes and methods to approve vendors. Ensure to track, measure, report and evaluate vendor performance. Troubleshoot all vendor problems and present to management as required. Identify improvement areas internally as well as perform closely with all internal stakeholders to prepare solutions. Identify and implement continuously enhance efficiencies associated with vendor management plus produce fulfillment. Participate to formulate workflow processes, methods and policies for applying vendors. Any other duties or projects assigned by the head of section Other Responsibilities Perform other duties relevant to the job as requested by head of Section and Department Manager. Job Requirements / Qualifications Education: Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field.Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a business technology management Skills Multitasking skills Negotiation skills Math and decision making skills Computer skills Languages Interpersonal skills Communication Attention to details Technical Skills Knowledge Knowledge of Vendor Management Strategy Knowledge of Evaluation Tools, this is including offers and contracts assessment and selection of suppliers Vendor Management Success tools Procurement life cycle and its relationship to vendor management The pillars of vendor management success Importance of carefully exchanging commitments Elements of contracts, statements of work (SOWs), and service level agreements (SLAs) Negotiating techniques that support productive working relationships Role and function of performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and vendor performancescorecard Abilities Able to work under pressure Able to solve problems quickly To provide creative solutions for issues Meeting deadlines To coordinate across various departments in order to provide consistency of output To remain calm under pressure and deal with competing demands
