QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or Materials Science5+ years of welding engineering experience in oil & gas industryCertified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent preferredProficient in welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and NDT methodsKnowledge of ASME, AWS, and API standardsKEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and qualify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and maintain Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)Coordinate and oversee NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) activities including UT, RT, MT, and PT for welding inspectionsConduct welding inspections and ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, API, and project specificationsReview welding documentation, including welder qualifications, material certificates, and inspection reportsIdentify welding non-conformances, raise NCRs, and implement corrective actionsLiaise with client representatives, third-party inspectors, and fabrication teams to ensure quality complianceProvide technical support to welding teams and ensure adherence to approved proceduresKEY COMPETENCIESStrong knowledge of welding processes, WPS/PQR, and NDT methodsCertified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent certificationFamiliarity with ASME, AWS, and API industry standardsAttention to detail and ability to identify welding defectsExcellent documentation and reporting skillsEffective communication with client and project teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
