Your designs will deliver reliable coverage, capacity, and security.Detailed Job DescriptionYou will conduct predictive and on‑site surveys, RF planning, and controller/AP configurations across campuses and branches. Expect hands‑on with tools like Ekahau/AirMagnet, tuning for 802.11ax/6E, and implementing 802.1X, WPA3, and role‑based access. You’ll integrate WLAN with wired LAN, NAC, and location services, and build design documents, heatmaps, and acceptance reports. The role includes troubleshooting RF/interference issues, spectrum analysis, and continuous optimization via telemetry.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform RF surveys, capacity planning, and channel/power optimizationConfigure controllers/APs, SSIDs, QoS, and roaming for voice and high densityImplement secure access (802.1X/WPA3), guest onboarding, and segmentationIntegrate WLAN with wired LAN, NAC/ISE, and location/analytics servicesProduce designs, heatmaps, and as‑built documentation; lead acceptance testingTroubleshoot RF issues using spectrum analysis and monitoring toolsRequired Qualifications & Skills5+ years in enterprise WLAN design and operationsProficient with Ekahau (or AirMagnet) and RF fundamentalsHands‑on with Cisco/Aruba/Ruckus (or equivalent) controllers and APsStrong knowledge of 802.11 standards, security (802.1X), and QoS for voice/videoExcellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communicationNice‑to‑Have SkillsCWNA/CWNP, Cisco wireless certificationsExperience with 802.11ax/6E designs and high‑density venuesNAC/ISE integration and role‑based access controlPython/Ansible for WLAN configuration at scaleLocation services, BLE, and wayfinding solutionsRecruitment Pro TipAttach a sample heatmap and a short narrative of how you handled RF constraints (walls, density, interference).
