Accountant ( Saudi National Only )

Position Purpose (Summary)This position is responsible for performing assigned accounting functions of a routine nature/support and assist the senior accountant in carrying out the overall financial and accounting function for the department.Major / Key AccountabilitiesMaintains general ledger on computer system, including coding invoices, accounts analysis and reconciliation, closing books on monthly basis and setting up new accounts.Reconciles monthly bank statement, verifies all deposits, handles discrepancies and problems and prepare analysis of accounts as requested.Assist in the preparation and coordination of the audit process and yearend inventory counting.Assist in implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.Reconciles supplier’s accounts and post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.Sort, code, match and enter invoices into finance system.Performs any other related tasks as maybe required.Company policies & proceduresEnsure all departmental activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant standing instructions and other company policies.QHSE policy & proceduresPromote safety awareness and ensure compliance to HSE policy to maintain a hazard and incident free environment.of the significant environmental aspects and related actual or potential environmental impacts associated with the workSkillsEducational BackgroundMust have a university degree in Accountancy or Commerce.Experience1 to 2 years of relevant experience.Skills, Knowledge & AbilityAbility to prepare and analyse financial reports and draw logical conclusions.Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively.Ability to manage time and organize work.Ability to get along well with others.Ability to be able to prepare accurate reports.Ability to work in a computer environment, use PC and enter data accurately.Ability to work with the chart of accounts, FSI, and work procedures.#J-18808-Ljbffr
