Job Description

Job PurposeThe Arabic Localization Coordinator is responsible for translating and localizing English product descriptions into high-quality Arabic that aligns with Ounass brand voice, luxury positioning, and customer expectations. This role combines hands‑on translation expertise with coordination responsibilities to ensure accurate, culturally relevant, and timely delivery of Arabic content. The role also supports AI/Translation Memory assisted translation workflows, performs post‑editing, and contributes to improving linguistic quality of Arabic output. This role involves coordinating resources, tracking progress, and ensuring the seamless upload of Arabic copy onto Ounass platform ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.Essential Roles and ResponsibilitiesStrategic Roles and Responsibilitiesn/aFunctional Roles and ResponsibilitiesTranslate product descriptions (RTW, bags, footwear, jewelry, accessories, beauty) from English into Arabic.Ensure translations reflect luxury tone, accuracy, and cultural relevance.Independently assess translation accuracy, context alignment, and image-copy consistency, and proactively flag and resolve issues.Evaluate and refine AI/Translation Memory generated outputs.Perform linguistic QA and validation checks.Provide constructive feedback to freelancers.Support continuous improvement of localization workflows.Create and analyze categorized sheets using SDL Trados.Distribute the sheets and Translation Memories into the freelancers’ folders.Upload the Arabic copy onto the designated platform.Update and maintain the Translation Memories with the latest translations.Import Arabic sheets into the Copy Management System for further processing.Update the translation trackers to keep stakeholders informed of progress.Manage several brands/sheets and adapt to changes in work priorities and schedules as needed.Follow up on pending and completed copy translations, providing timely updates to relevant parties.Follow up on emails and other related work channels including customer issues.People Management Roles and Responsibilities(No items listed)Job RequirementsEducation/Certification and Continued EducationBachelor's degree in translation, business, project management, or a related field.Years of ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of professional translation experience and project management.Knowledge and SkillsWorking knowledge with Microsoft ExcelStrong team playerPositive attitudeTakes initiative and direction and works well independentlyManage workload with limited supervisionGood communication skills written and verbalFlawless language skills, strong grammar and style, and the ability to produce clear, engaging Arabic contentExperience with SDL Trados tools and translation memoriesMandatory fashion translation experienceWillingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as neededHigh desire to assist othersStrong organizational and prioritizing skillsKey Internal RelationshipsStudio Team English Copy TeamKey External RelationshipsThird Party Vendors and Suppliers Have a strong quality focus and can do precise, accurate work under tight deadlineLanguagesEnglish and ArabicAdditional RequirementsPrior experience in an administrative support role is preferred Experience working on translation of fashion product descriptions is mandatory for hiring Arabic candidate with translation backgroundCompetenciesCore CompetenciesIntegrity and Trust Managing Diversity Customer Focus Collaboration Learning AgilityManagerial and Leadership Competencies(Not specified)Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Customer Finance People Operations/ProcessDisclaimerStatements in this job description are intended to reflect, in general, the duties and responsibilities of the position, but are not to be interpreted as totally inclusive.#J-18808-Ljbffr
