We are looking for qualified candidates who can teach design studios, Construction details, computational design, BIM, and supervise graduation projects and postgraduate courses.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Graduate with a Ph.D. degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a reputable university. (Terminal Master's degree holders with professional experience will be considered at the Lecturer rank).Teaching recordOutstanding research/design and publications record in top journalsAdequate experience in supervising student projects and thesis papersRecord of collaborative and interdisciplinary research would be an advantageExcellent record in community service and scholarly activitiesDesign and construction experienceESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and deliver courses to students in specified discipline areas of studyEvaluate and monitor individual student progress and provide feedback to sustain student successResearch, organize and manage instructional resources, courses outlines, and community networksConduct high quality research/ design in their own field and publish research outcomes in reputable journals and conferencesProvide consultative expertise as a subject matter expert to the local industry through pre-approved partnership projects by the UniversityEnsure a respectful and culturally sensitive learning environment in all college focused activitiesEstablish and maintain effective work relationships across the organization and communityMotivate and inspire confidence in others (students and colleagues) to overcome limitations to personal growth and successActively seek out methods, procedures and resources to best achieve course and lesson objectivesSupport and participate in accreditation initiativesMaintain relationships with students that are conducive to learningPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingFamiliarity with the “Credit Hour” academic systemAbility to supervise student workAbility to provide academic advising for studentsAbility to conduct independent research/design and publish in reputable journals and conferencesAbility to work effectively with diverse team membersKnowledge of academic program planning and implementation#J-18808-Ljbffr
