The school delivers a high-quality American curriculum within an all-girls learning environment, focused on academic excellence, character development, and preparing students for global success.The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing curriculum implementation, monitoring teaching quality, and strengthening assessment frameworks across the K-12 program. Working closely with the Principal and leadership team, the Vice Principal will support the continued development of the school’s academic standards and ensure alignment with international best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic LeadershipOversee the implementation and development of the American curriculum across K-12.Lead the monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning practices.Ensure consistent curriculum alignment, pacing, and academic rigor across all grade levels.Support teachers in implementing effective instructional strategies and differentiated learning approaches.Curriculum & AssessmentLead the development and refinement of the school’s assessment framework.Monitor student performance data and use insights to improve learning outcomes.Ensure curriculum delivery aligns with international standards and accreditation expectations.Work with department heads to ensure continuous improvement in curriculum design and assessment practices.Staff DevelopmentProvide instructional coaching and mentorship to teaching staff.Lead professional development initiatives to strengthen pedagogy, assessment, and student engagement.Support teacher evaluations and performance management processes.School OperationsAssist the Principal with the day-to-day academic operations of the school.Maintain high standards of student discipline, wellbeing, and safeguarding.Foster a positive and collaborative school culture within an all-girls educational environment.Candidate RequirementsMaster’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field.Teaching qualification/licence (B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent).Minimum 5–7 years of teaching experience within an international school environment.At least 3 years in a leadership role such as Assistant Principal, Vice Principal, or Head of Department.Strong experience with the American curriculum framework.Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, assessment design, and academic quality assurance.Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.PackageSalary: Up to a total and all inclusive 30,000 AED per month (tax-free)Accommodation allowance or provided housingAnnual return flightsMedical insuranceWork visa sponsorshipTuition fee coverage for up to two dependent childrenAbout Ras Al KhaimahRas Al Khaimah is one of the UAE’s fastest-growing emirates, known for its beautiful coastline, mountains, and high quality of life.
