Assistant legal Counsel

We are looking for an Assistant Legal Counsel to support the Legal Department in contract management, dispute handling, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, legal research, and coordination with internal teams. What You'll Get Your Hands On Contractual Support Assist in drafting, reviewing, and amending commercial contracts, including: Employment and consultancy agreements Influencer and brand ambassador contracts Service agreements Merchant and supplier agreements Ensure contracts align with company policies and applicable laws. Maintain and organize contract templates and records. Litigation & Dispute Support Assist in handling litigation, labor claims, and commercial disputes. Prepare case summaries, chronologies, and supporting documentation. Coordinate with external legal counsels, courts, and government authorities. Track case status, deadlines, and filings. Regulatory & Compliance Matters Support compliance with applicable laws and regulations (including labor, commercial, consumer protection, and data protection laws). Assist in responding to regulatory notices, complaints, and inquiries. Help maintain regulatory filings, licenses, and renewals. Corporate Governance Assist in preparing Board, AGM documentation, including: Agendas Minutes and resolutions Support execution and filing of corporate documents. Maintain corporate records and statutory registers. Legal Research & Advisory Support Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulations, and precedents. Prepare legal memoranda, summaries, and internal legal notes. Support the Legal Counsel in providing advice to business teams. Internal Coordination Act as a point of contact between the Legal Department and other departments (Operations, Finance, HR, Procurement, Marketing). Support legal training and awareness initiatives within the company. Assist in implementing legal processes and workflows. ️ The Magic You Bring Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent). 2-4 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department (preferred). Experience with commercial contracts and legal documentation. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong legal drafting and analytical skills. Good understanding of commercial and corporate legal concepts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required and Arabic). Bonus Points If You Have Knowledge of Qatari laws and regulations is an advantage. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
